A Devastating Blow, an Unshakable Hope: Help Us Rebuild Our Home
On June 24, 2026, the earth shook, and within seconds, our lifelong sanctuary collapsed. We are the Romero family, and we lost our home in Venezuela, specifically in Guarenas, Miranda State, postal code 1220. At 54 years of age, I lost everything I had built; thank God, though we feared the worst, we survived, and there are no fatalities within our family.
Despite being a university-educated professional, recovering from such a severe blow is immensely challenging. It is well-documented that being over 40 in Venezuela makes securing meaningful employment exceptionally difficult, further compounded by our harsh economic and healthcare climate. I live with my wife and our 11-year-old daughter, who has just transitioned into secondary school with a gaze full of questions we often cannot answer.
This is a direct individual appeal. We are actively raising funds for food assistance, monetary support, basic supplies, clothing donations, and any other resources necessary to sustain our family through this transition.
We are not asking for passive charity; we are seeking an opportunity to rebuild our lives.
Every contribution—whether food items, clothing, basic supplies, or monetary funds—serves as a building block toward restoring a safe home and stability for our daughter. Furthermore, I offer extensive expertise in commercial management, key performance indicators (KPIs), statistical reporting, managerial strategic vision, Quality Assurance (QA), and Project Management Office (PMO) leadership. I am also fully prepared to relocate internationally to secure the family protection and future we lack in Venezuela.

Un golpe devastador, una esperanza inquebrantable: Ayúdanos a reconstruir nuestro hogar
El pasado 24 de junio de 2026, la tierra se sacudió y, en cuestión de segundos, nuestro refugio de toda la vida se derrumbó. Somos la familia Romero y perdimos nuestro hogar en Venezuela, específicamente en Guarenas, Estado Miranda, código postal 1220. A mis 54 años de edad perdí todo lo que tenía; gracias a Dios, aunque pensábamos que era el final, pudimos sobrevivir y no tenemos ningún fallecido dentro de nuestro grupo familiar.
A pesar de ser un profesional universitario, me pesa mucho levantarme de tan duro golpe que recibió mi grupo familiar. Es muy bien conocido que tener más de 40 años en Venezuela hace que no encajes en los pocos empleos que podemos conseguir, adicionalmente sumado a la dura situación de seguridad económica y de salud a la cual estamos afectados. Tengo a mi esposa y una hija de 11 años que acaba de dar el paso a la secundaria, con los ojos llenos de preguntas que muchas veces no podemos responder.
Esta es una solicitud de carácter estrictamente individual y familiar. Estamos recolectando ayuda humanitaria enfocada en: ayuda para alimentación, ayuda monetaria, insumos básicos, donaciones de ropa y todo lo que esté al alcance de tu solidaridad para salir adelante.
No pedimos caridad pasiva; pedimos una oportunidad para renacer.
Queremos comenzar desde cero. Cada aporte en alimentos, ropa, insumos o fondos monetarios es un ladrillo para devolverle un hogar seguro a nuestra hija. Pongo a disposición mi experiencia en la gestión comercial, indicadores de rendimiento (KPIs), reportes estadísticos, Visión Estratégica Gerencial, Quality Assurance (Aseguramiento de Calidad) y Gestión de Proyectos (PMO - Project Management Office). Asimismo, soy completamente capaz de irme a otro país que le garantice a mi familia la protección que no tengo en Venezuela.
